Bio and CV
Sara was raised in a rural town on Maryland's Eastern Shore and relocated to New Mexico in 2004 with her mother’s blessing saying to go do something different. Since then, she has been inspired by the stunning landscape of the mountains to the east, volcanoes to the west, and infinite routes to explore. Albuquerque is a big creative hub with several artistic options. Sara Bolden is currently a senior at the University of New Mexico for a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary arts, with a concentration in jewelry construction and the arts and leadership business program. Sara works as a lab monitor at the Small Metals lab on campus.
Sara started her own jewelry company, Galaxia Berillus Jewelry, after working in the jewelry industry for ten years. Sara learnt about stone procurement, jewelry fabrication, merchandising, and company administration throughout those ten years. Sara's talents, along with her years of experience working in office and retail settings, provided her with the strong work ethic and business acumen required to become a full-time student and entrepreneur.
